To overcome this hurdle, Yulia took accent reduction classes and found that singing in English significantly improved her pronunciation.

She explains, "I stay motivated because I'm naturally driven to create and express my artistic vision. Often, life experiences can be translated and communicated through a song or a story for a script, allowing me to channel those emotions and experiences into my work."

Yulia's passion for performing was ignited early in her career. She recalls a poignant moment: "As a young performer in my home country, I had the opportunity to participate in several major live shows, sharing the stage with dancers and performing in front of thousands of people. These exhilarating experiences ignited my passion for performing even more, as there is nothing quite as rewarding as the thrill of captivating a large audience."

Addressing the gender disparity in the entertainment industry, Yulia notes, "Traditionally, the film industry has offered more roles for men than women. While this imbalance is improving over time, it persists." She emphasizes the importance of resilience, stating, "Being a woman in this industry can be challenging, and I've faced situations that could have made me want to quit. Instead, these experiences have only fueled my determination to push forward."

Yulia's multicultural background significantly shapes her approach to acting and music. She reflects, "My multicultural background has profoundly influenced every aspect of my creative life. Being multilingual enables me to bring a deeper authenticity to my roles, enhancing both the linguistic and physical elements of my performances."

Yulia's advice for aspiring women in entertainment is invaluable. She advises, "Don't lose yourself—stay focused and don't get discouraged. Always keep working on creating your content. It's 'show business.' Talent is crucial, but you must consider yourself a brand/product. Identify your niche and leverage your strengths." This advice is a guiding light for those navigating the competitive entertainment world.

In discussing her role preparation for "Gunner," Yulia delves into the complexities of her character, Claire. She explains, "Claire embodies the strength of a woman whose husband dedicated his life to serving his country." Yulia drew inspiration from her personal experiences with her nephews to tap into the "protector" mindset essential for portraying Claire.

Yulia's commitment to wellness, including yoga and skincare, is crucial to her career. She believes, "Whether in front of the camera or in everyday life, I believe that healthy-looking skin, strong teeth, and a balanced diet reflect hard work and respect for your body." She adds, "My biggest outlet for stress relief is practicing yoga and meditation. It is handy, especially on set, in my trailer, or in any situation where I might feel overwhelmed or overly excited." This commitment to self-care is a testament to maintaining balance in a demanding industry.

Her musical talents shine through in her work on the "Captors" soundtrack. Yulia describes the creative process behind the theme song "Can Anybody Hear Me?": "When I collaborated with my friends, music producers John Ho and Jimmy Burney, we delved deeply into this story. I explained that Alys's heart was crying for someone to hear her. In her mind and her life, she feels utterly alone, and her soul is desperately seeking help."

Looking to the future, Yulia is developing several projects inspired by actual events. She shares, "One project, in particular, is especially close to my heart: it addresses the issue of addiction. Over the years, I have witnessed the struggles of people close to me dealing with addiction—some have overcome it, while others have not."

Regarding skincare, Yulia emphasizes the importance of a good cleanser, Vitamin C serum, and SPF moisturizer. She draws beauty inspiration from icons of the 1950s and 1960s, admiring their timeless elegance. As for her style, Yulia confidently states, "I am a trendsetter for sure! I love experimenting with new styles—some may work out, some may not; however, classic looks always endure."
