She’s Glowing: Larz FOUNDER of #HALFTHESTORY
Larz had her first business card at 10; she is a serial builder, marketer, and organizer, and it's her way of life. In 2018, she spoke out about her depression on social media, sharing her #HalfTheStory and it caused a global conversation on the link between technology and emotional well-being. Larz envisions a future where kids learn to form healthy relationships with technology. After battling depression and social media addiction, she started a campaign with only $250 and a mission to help build more meaningful connections through social storytelling—#HalfTheStory.
#HalfTheStory has been shared in 99 countries with over 30,000 stories. It has produced a film and a play, becoming a leading youth 501(c)3. It has also launched the Global Day of Unplugging. Larz is a keynote speaker for universities, organizations, conferences, and corporations. She has been featured at Sundance Film Festival, Healthline Chronicon, and many universities worldwide. Her workshops focus on social storytelling, life-tech harmony, digital wellness in the workplace, how to turn a passion project into a business, and social entrepreneurship.
